Collingwood AFLW coach to stand down following tumultuous season - Zero Hanger

Collingwood AFLW coach Sam Wright is set to stand down, according to Zero Hanger. His last game in charge will be the club's Round 12 clash against Essendon at Windy Hill. Wright has led the Pies for the past three seasons. The article says the decision comes at a point of crisis for the club.

In a statement quoted in the article, Wright said it had been a privilege to serve the AFLW program at Collingwood. He thanked every player, coach, staff member and supporter he had worked with. He said the decision was the right one for his family and the football program, and that he leaves knowing Collingwood is committed to driving its AFLW program forward.
